Over the past few years, Ryder Cooley and her dark carnival band the Dust Bowl Faeries have been combining forces with Thin Edge Films artistically. The result of this collaboration has produced a series of dynamic music videos that have garnered awards from Los Angeles, CA to Munich, Germany. These works have screened internationally at film festivals, have been projected behind the band during live performances and can also be found on the web.

The most recent video dreamed up out of the imagination of Lisa M. Thomas, is a surreal faerie tale about a peculiar cast of characters who have fallen under the hypnotic spell of a maniacal marionette (played by Ryder Cooley) and her otherworldly spirit animal, Hazel the Ram.

Shot on location at the historic Mayflower Candy Shop in Catskill, NY this music novella directed by Lisa M. Thomas recounts the dark and twisted tale of Marge and Moishe Zschiesche who take matters into their own hands when they decide to burn down their own candy store.

Inspired by films of the silent era, Vampire Tango takes us on a journey to the island of La Sirene where something is clearly amiss with the villagers who worship a ram goddess named Hazel, but can a possessed faerie save the villagers from themselves?

Not to be mistaken for the David Lynch film of the same name, this animated short was made in the spring of 2020 at the onset of the pandemic to commemorate some of the first lives lost to the novel coronavirus and had it's world premiere in the Italian ghost town of Pentedattilo.

Music Video Awards this surreal, dark circus spectacle follows the story of an actress who haunts her film director after he kills her off to avoid paying her. Sirens is a dark cabaret song about misogyny & sexual harassment in the art and music worlds. Written by Ryder Cooley and performed by The Dust Bowl Faeries, the song debuted during the 2016 Trump campaign as a reaction to the current acceptance of misogynistic behavior by our then incoming president.
